So I got myself a new camera and I am so in love with it and so excited. I have always wanted a really nice camera to take pictures with and I finally got one. Here are some of the pictures I have taken since I got it! :) Who knows maybe I will get really good at it and one day be taking pictures for you. :) I am trying to talk my sister in to letting me take her engagement pictures. Let's see if that really happens.

I also love this time of year, it is my absolute favorite! I love the Fall with the nice weather and all of the Holidays. It puts me in such a good mood.

Summer Fun

Just some random pictures of the past week. We went over to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Grandpa and Tillman had so much fun together. Grandpa got down his gun, (Tillman's eyes got huge with excitement) let Tillman play with his tractors, and even got out of his chair on his knees to box with Tillman. My grandpa is the BEST EVER. I would put my grandparents up against anybody else's for THE BEST GRANDPARENTS EVER! Mine would win hands down. :) The other picutres are of Kenn and Till in the Walmart parking lot. (we were waiting for Randy, he left the keys somewhere inside of Walmart, I really don't use Walmart as a backdrop for my kids pics) Who would have thunk you can have so much fun in the parking lot. LOL. My kids are growing up way too fast and I want time to stop.

Kennadee was supposed to have her first softball game on Thursday but it got cancelled because of the heat wave we have had this week. Let's hope for some cooler weather, so she can play her scheduled games next week.

I am so excited and my heart is over joyed because my husband Randy is going through the Temple for the first time on Saturday. I am so happy for him. Then the following Saturday we get to be sealed along with our children for time and all eternity. When I think about how long I have waited for this day it truly is nothing compared to eternity. I love my family so much and I would never want to be seperated from them even after death. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I am thankful for all of the blessings my Heavenly Father bestows upon us.

Oh yeah and on another awesome note, my Kennadee Addison the 6th grader made the 8th grade softball team. She amazes me everyday with how awesome she is. She always has such a great attitude! Tillman on the other hand has been getting in trouble at school. Yeah yesterday he told his teachers to shutup, and threw a tantrum..... NO NOT MY TILLMAN.. COULDNT BE... I wonder where he gets that from. :) I told him if he continues to act that way he is not going to be able to play T-ball. We will have to wait and see if he actually listened to me and if he will be nice at school. Tell me how can I have two kids that are so opposite? LOL! I love them both! I think with Tillman he teaches me how I need to be patient and he tests my last nerve too. :)

Tillman and Kennadee 1st day of school pictures for this year. They are both growing like weeds and getting way too old already. Kennadee started middle school and of course she was so nervous last night. Her daddy gave her a father's blessing and I know it made her feel so much better. I love that he is able to do that for her. We said another prayer this morning before she left. I know she will have a great day. :) I know the Lord loves her. She knows it too. :)

Ok so it has been forever since I have posted anything, but I have decided to start posting again. Let's see if I can actually stick to it this time. :) This summer has gone by so fast for us. Tillman already started preschool and Kennadee starts school next Monday. She is really excited to be starting middle school (where does the time go). Jake and Kristin got married on July 1st and we had so much fun celebrating with them in Harvey ND. It was by far the most fun wedding I have ever been too.
P.S. I got my dress to zip!! LOL :)

Last Sunday was Kennadee's 9th Birthday! I cant believe my little girl is getting so old. We celebrated her party with everyone. My brother's were down from Washington and she had such a good time! April and Caden came down too and it was so great to see them all and for Kennadee to have them all here on her birthday. Kennadee's favorite gift was the Warner Jersey from my mom and dad. She got so excited when she opened it she screamed and squealed. Here are some pics from her special day!

We took a trip up to Williams, and got to take a ride on the Polar Express! It was so fun and the kids loved it. Kennadee especially loved it she was so excited when the "Real Santa" gave her the silver bell and she could hear it ring. She was so happy! She said I BELIEVE MOM! I would highly reccomend it to anyone. It was well worth it and Williams was so pretty with all the snow and lights. I hope we can do it again next year!

We also went to a deer petting zoo and that was a blast too. The deer really liked Kennadee!! Here are some pictures of our trip. Enjoy!

Kennadee had her first piano recital tonight. She played Jingle Bells and Angels We Have Heard On High. She did a GREAT job, (she got a little nervous at the very beginning)but really came through! She has been taking lessons once a week for a half an hour for about 5 months. Good Job KENN DOGG!!!!

Temple Lights

Saturday night we decided to go eat at our FAV place El Charro and then go see the Temple Lights. It was tons of fun and so pretty. Randy, Kennadee, and I watched the Luke II video. I love watching that video, I always feel the spirit so strongly when I watch the birth of our Savior. Tillman loved the lights but liked all the airplanes he pointed out in the sky better! Christmas time is my absolute favorite time of the year I can't wait to get the tree up at my house! Here are some pics of the fun night!!

My brother Seth and his wife April came down last week and brought my nephew Caden. We all headed up to the Cabin at Apache Lake and had a blast. Josh brought his RHINO and we had a blast taking rides on it. Everyone had so much fun hanging out and relaxing. Papa came with us and he even took a crazy ride in the RHINO. Apache Lake memories are always the best. Uncle Bobby, Brad, and Brexen even came for a day too. Jake and Josh got deers but grandpa never got one. Better luck next year hoprefully. I also have some pictures of the the kids and GG and Papa. Enjoy.

Tillman spotted some balloons that looked like balls for cousin Sharon's game and he wanted them so bad, I finally just asked if I could have one for him. He was so determined to get one of them. Want to run 6 miles on the morning of Thanksgiving? If so below is the information. I know I really need to get into shape and this is just the thing to train for before the Holidays. I am going to have my wonderful sister Mareen who has run a full Marathon (26.2 Miles) make me a running schedule so I will be ready. If anyone wants to join me let me know. I have the information posted below. It is at the Red Mountain Park. I will probably run at Highland High during the week but every Saturday I will do the big runs and we can even run those together if anyone wants to do this with me!! We can have seconds on mom's pumpkin pie,aunt Shanna's sweet potatoes, and Kelly's rolls! YUMMY!!!!

Tomorrow is my sister's Mo's birthday! Here are the top ten reasons I love my sister!

10. She is the best aunt to my son and daughter.

9. She is great at math and will be able to help my kids with there homework.(I suck at math)

8. She is very generous and always helps others.

7. She brightens a room when she enters it.

6. One time we didn't get to go to Sunplash because our room wasn't clean so instead of cleaning it we both just sat there and cried the whole time. Meanwhile everyone else was at Sunsplash having fun!

One Summer while in Washington when she was about 8 or 9 she would never want to leave my side, and I called her HERB(you have to say it with a french accent) the Barnacle because she would stick to me like a barnacle sticks to a whale. (literally sometimes she would hold on to my foot if I tired to walk away she would be dragged along. We still laugh about that!

4. We used to stay up late at night when we were younger and talk for hours. We always had to share a room

Washington Trip

We are finally back from vacation and we had a blast! The weather was a little hot the first week (no a/c in houses like down here) but the 2nd week it was great! We had lots of fun and spent alot of the time outdoors. Tillman could truly be a boy there and explored all day everyday, he was always dirty! He loved it. It was also great to finally see my nephew Caden Michael. He is so adorable and grew a ton just while we were there! Kennadee caught not only her first fish but a lot of them. She had a great time fishing and playing volleyball! Pictures soon to come! :) I guess I was gone only two weeks but still missed out on alot. Congratulations to Jami on her baby boy Parker and also thank goodness that little Sydnee didn't have to have her surgery! Grandma kept me in the loop! :)

Randy decided the other day when I was at work to go ahead and just cut Tillman's hair without my permission. I loved Tillman's curly hair and I had planned to let it grow more before I cut it. Well needless to say much to my disagreeing Randy did it anyways. I guess because he is in the military he thinks his hair should be short. Well I don't like the cut and it has taken a while for me to get used to it, I am waiting for it to grow back out. I have to tell this story because it is way too cute not too! Today was Kennadee's last day of 2nd grade and they had a party day. I called Kennadee around 4:00 like I do everyday and asked her how her day was. This is the conversation......
ME: Hey Kenn what are you doing?
Ken: Watching The Suite Life of Zack and Cody
Me: How was your last day at school
Ken: (very excitedly)Oh mom it was so awesome let me tell you what happened. We played this game where had to throw a ball up in the air and you couldn't drop it and I made it to the finals. Jacob Adam and Drake all got out mom and it was down to just me and Abby. Do you want to know who won?? Guess who won Mom!
ME: Abby????
Ken: NO MOM I WON! I jumped in the air really high and raised my fist after I won, and then mom it was just like in the movies like slow motion Kayla came running over to me and picked me up in the air and twirled me around in the class becuase I was the WINNER!
Me: Laughing so hard I snorted! Like slow motion mom! :)

And just because I don't want to leave Tillman out his new words are OH YEAH! After everything it's OH yeah!

Jake Graduates

My baby brother Jacob graduated from college on May 10th! He is the first member of our family to graduate college. My parents were able to go back to Jamestown to see him make the walk. I am very proud of my brother and all that he has accomplished. Not only did he graduate but he played football for 4 years in college while maintaining a close to B average. I know that my mom and Cal are especially proud of him as well. Jacob is funny guy who brings laughter, fun, a competitive spirit, and great impersenations where ever he goes. Just ask him for a Nacho Libre, or Billy Madison impression and you will pee your pants it's so funny! I know the future holds great things for Jacob and I love him so much! My sister Mareen and I are so blessed to have 6 wonderful brothers. Congratulations Jacob! You Rock! Can't wait to see you in a couple of weeks.

YAYE! I am so excited today! My husband Randy got promoted! He is now Sergeant Coplen! The above picture is the rank he will now wear! He has deserved this for a very long time and it has finally happened! He has worked so hard for this to happen and it is very well deserving. I am so happy for him I could cry! The best thing about Randy is that even when all his buddies were getting promoted and he didn't get promoted, he was still so Genuinely happy for them and he never gets jealous or wishes it was him. I have never met anyone who is more selfless than him. He will help anyone achieve things even when he is overlooked. I was always saying to him it's not fair, it's not fair, and he would just still be so happy for everyone else. He is truly one of the best friends anyone could ever ask for! Congratulations Babe you earned it! It is time for everyone to be HAPPY for you!

The Day With the Bunnies!

Here are some pictures of the kids I got taken back in March. My friend Cherise took them for us. She always does such a great job! Kennadee loved the bunnies and was so gentle and sweet. She fell in love with the little white one. Tillman on the other hand was not so gentle. His idea of petting was slamming his hand down on it as hard as he could. He thought he was being nice. :) Yeah, we didn't let him hold them much! I think he scared the bunnies so bad one of them had an accident and pooped. It was quite a day! Thanks Cherise!

PAT'S RUN

On Saturday we did the Pat's Run! Well Mareen, Cali, Dr Beck, and Alison did the run and I walked with Tillman in the stroller for the 4.2 miles. Kennadee and Makenna did the kid's run. It was a beautiful day and it was well worth it. The run started at 7:00 am and the walk at 7:30. The traffic was so bad getting there Mo barely made it in time for the run. I walked with The PINK TEAM! (Holly, Marcie, Julie and the adorable Ayla) I was glad I had them as company and we all crossed the finish line at the same time. Anyone up for it next year? I know I am! I love Pat Tillman and I love what he stood for and the life he led. He left behind a huge legacy and if you don't believe me you should have just seen the thousands and thousands of people participating in the Run this year. It was like a sea of yellow shirts as far as the eye could see! :)

Ok so I am so obsessed with the BIGGEST LOSER. It is my favorite show in the whole wide world, ( I cry every episode) To see these people change there lives and transform there bodies is so amazing. I love it! And finally after 5 years a female has won. Ali, who is actually from Arizona won. I can't believe how awesome she looks. This was my favorite season by far. If you dont watch it I highly reccomend the show, it's not just about weight but about people and what they overcome in there life. It is very inspiring. Plus BOB the trainer is so good looking, he's fun to watch too! :) I added a picture of him too just cause he's so CUTE!

I am calling all girls, whether married, single, kids etc. Do you ever feel like you just need a night out or away from everything? I DO! Here is my plan. Once a month like every 3rd Thursday (example) we all get together and go out to dinner or go bowling, or just go have some fun. We can get out of the house, away from our jobs and have some girl time. Everyone needs a good night away to regroup! :) So what do you say anyone that wants to do it just let me know! We can either start it this month and we can start next month. Let me know what you think!

Kenn's first softball game

On Tuesday Kennadee had her first softball game! She plays with the town of Gilbert. It is coach pitch for girls 7-9! It was really exciting to watch let me tell you. :) She got to play 1st base, 2nd base, and catcher. The catcher mask was way tooo big and kept falling off her head so they had to stop the game a COUPLE times so I could fix it for her. I thought for sure since the mask was too big her coach wouldn't put her at catcher again but low and behold the next inning she was back at catcher. She did do a really good job throwing that ball back to the pitcher so that had to be the reason he put her there again. So we tried putting her hat on before the mask and that seemed to work a little better but not by much! :) She did a great job and I am very proud of her! We had a hard time keeping Tillman off the field and away from the balls so Cali ended up taking he and Makenna on the playground. They had lots of fun going down the slide. Yesterday my brother Seth and his wife April had there first baby! It was a handsome little boy named Caden Michael Stoltz (such a cute name) Weighing in at 7lbs 12oz and 20inches long! He is healthy and great and Seth said April did an awesome job! I am so excited for Seth and April. I know they will be the best mommy and daddy ever! By looking at this picture I would say he looks alot like Seth espescially the mouth! But who knows they change so much from the time they are born! I can't wait to meet my new nephew! Congratulations Seth and April I love you both! Now my grandparents have 15 great grandchildren with 4 more on the way this year! Tracy your next, we can't wait to meet your little Sydnee Colleen!

Weekend Recap

We had a wonderful weekend! On Saturday Kennadee was baptized! It was an amazing day and she is very happy that her great grandpa Sheldon was able to baptize her on his 80th birthday and her little brothers 1st birthday. It will be a day she will never forget! Thanks to everyone who came and made it such a SPECIAL day for Kennadee!

Then on Sunday we had my grandpa's 80th birthday party. It was fun for everyone to get together and celebrate our wonderful grandpa! I love my grandpa more than words can say and I don't know what any of us would do without him. He is an amazing man who has always been there for all of us no matter what. It is hard to see him getting older. WE love you grandpa and thanks for being the best grandpa EVER!

Yesterday since Kennadee didn't have school and Randy was off I decided to just work half the day. We wanted to do something fun with Kennadee so off to Peter Piper Pizza we went. We had a blast! Tillman loved riding the fire truck, train, and car. He was so excited! Kennadee, Randy, and I ended up winning 750 tickets while only spending around $10-12 on tokens. It was so fun. Kennadee got a stuffed purple guitar, and some other small prizes with her tickets. It was so fun we kept getting so lukcy on the Speedy Pizza game. It was too fun.

She always gets Kenn and Till stuff too. She is the best grandma ever. I remember right after I had Kennadee and she got RSV we were actually in the hospital on Kenn's first Valentine's Day. It was a hard time and Kennadee was really sick. But that didn't stop my mom from coming up to the hospital in Phoenix when she lived all the way out on the Base (long drive) on Valentine's Day with a gift for me and Kenn! It wasn't anything huge and spectacular but it meant the world to us. It's seems like it's always the little things in life that end up mattering the most. So thanks mom for being the person you are and always giving to others. That's why I love Valentine's Day!

Happy Birthday Kenn Dogg!

Kennadee turned 8 on Friday the 25th! I can't believe my daughter is already 8! Time flies. She got to have a sleepover with two of her friends and we had a great time singing karaoke! I think I heard Rhiannan's Umbrella enough times to not want to hear it anytime soon. Especially the part UMBRELLA EH EH EH! :)
Then on Saturday her dad and I took her to see Disney On Ice Princesses! It was really neat! We had a great time. Then we stopped by El Charro to see my brothers who came into town and pick up Tillman. It's nice to have the boys in town and my dad ended up flying down yesterday so it should be a fun couple of weeks. I know Kennadee is on cloud nine with all of her uncles and grandpa Terry here.

Other than that not too much is new in my life. Tillman is about ready to take his first step. He will stand up and act like he is going to take a step but then he just sits down. He is getting huge! At his nine month appt he weighed 23 pounds and was 31 inches. He was 100 % for his height and 85-90 % for his weight. He's a bruiser! He is also very protective of his sister. When anyone goes to mess with her and she starts screaming he starts yelling and screaming at the person! It's hilarious and so cute! (I think he might have his mom's temper.) I will post some of the pics from Kenn's birthday party soon!

Forever and a Day!

Ok so I know it has been forever and a day since I have posted last but I just am not that great at this whole blog thing! Caryn told Mareen that if I didn't update my blog she was going to do it for me so I better do it.

Ok so I have some good advice for anyone that is going to start working out. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT run up 6 flight of concrete stairs three times in a row unless the next day you want to be in serious pain. So lately I have been on this health kick and have been trying to lose some much needed weight. (yeah lots of much needed weight)Well I decided to that if I walked briskly around my building at work and then run up the stairs three times in a row after my walk I could burn some extra calories. (by the way I am doing this three times a day as well on both my breaks and my lunch) Well despite the fact that I have been going to the gym actively for about a month and half now I sure paid this week after going up the stairs. I guess when your body is used to be stationery while at work you shouldn't run upstairs. Ok let me just tell you how bad my calf muscles hurt. I can barely walk and when I raise my heel off the ground I get shooting pains up and down my whole leg. Not good. Now I am even too sore to resume normal workout at the gym. Also much to everyone else's humor I realized after day three that my whole buildingat work is in one big window so I am sure people have been getting a real kick out of watching the PLUS SIZE POSH or for short PSP running up stairs while at work. How embarassing. Can I be anymore LAME! But I just keep telling myself when I am done losing all this weight and am SMOKING HOT, they won't be laughing anymore, no, I might just see them outside my window running up the stairs. :)

So on a happier note Kennadee and Tillman are wonderful. I got Tillman's 6 month pictures done and I will post them on a slideshow for you! He is huge. He is crawling everywhere and he has learned to pull himself up and stand! Kennadee just found out she gets to be Stellaluna in her class play(the lead part) and she is excited. She also got straight A's on her first real quarter grades.

Oh yeah quick question? Is there anyone out there and likes Heidi on the Hills? Just curious?

I know it has been awhile since I have posted so I have a lot to say! First I want to say Congratulations to Cali, Hardy, and Makenna! Who are now officially and legally a FAMILY!! We have all been waiting for this to happen and it finally did last Thursday 08-09! Makenna Lillie Jackson is now forever a part of our family and we all love her sooo much!
Next, Kennadee started school on Wednesday the 8th! So far so good. Her best friend ever and ever and forever Viviana is in her class and she even gets to sit next to her too! She was stressed out that 2nd grade was going to be hard for her but low and behold she made it through her first week. Oh if only we all had such little stress as 2nd grade! :) Gotta love little girls!
Third, my cousin Forrest had his farewell yesterday! It was great! He will be a great missionary and he will be serving his two years in Minneapolis Minnesota! Love you Forrest and good luck!
Fourth I posted a slide show of our trip to Washington. It was so fun as you can see! I love my family and miss them so much already. I wish Washington wasn't so far away.
Tillman is doing great! He is getting really big and got his first tooth last week! YAYE! Now so many more to come!
Ok last but not least THE HILLS starts tonight and I can't wait. DRAMA!

MAJOR

Well another weekend has passed and still no Randy! He is still out in Oklahoma training. We all wish he would hurry up and get home. The weekend was really fun. We had "girls night out" on Friday! That was a blast. Rachel and I couldn't stop laughing. It was a fun time.
Kennadee and I saw Hairspray on Saturday she loved it. It really was funny! Sunday I took the kids over to see there grandma Theresa. They hadn't seen her for awhile because we had been on vacation. It was fun and relaxing. Robert grilled some yummy steaks.
Tillman started his 2nd week at daycare. I must say I love his sitters Mary and Charmaine they are great and he loves them.
Did anyone watch the "Posh" Victoria Beckham reality show. I loved it and I love her! She is just MAJOR!

Weekends go by too fast!

Well the weekend is coming to an end! I hate that! I wish the weekends would last forever. Tomorrow will be Tillman's first day at his babysitters! So far my mom has been able to watch him for me and that has been such a blessing. So I am sure I will be a little anxious tomorrow and calling Mary his new sitter too many times throughout the day to make sure he is ok. I am sure he will be fine. :)

Randy is still in Oklahoma sweating to death. I guess the humidity is at like 80% and there tents have no air conditioning. He said he is miserable. I feel bad! Soldiers truly are Heroes! They do so much for there country.

This weekend I saw Harry Potter and Transformers. I thought they were both so good. I can't wait for Hairspray to come out! I bought the soundtrack for Kennadee and she loves it.

Hi all I am new at this and today will be my first blog post! :) Yea!

Randy is heading off to Ft. Sill Oklahoma for two weeks as of tomorrow. He will be doing his annual Training for the National Guard.

We just returned from a wonderful two week vacation in Spokane, Washington! We got to see Grandma Sickler and Shelly and we haven't seen them in over five years so it was great to spend time with them and hang out! It was the first time in five years all of my brothers and sisters were all together too! We also headed over to Seattle to Liza and her family! It was a great time.

Yesterday Tillman had his four month check up and he weighed 17 lbs 2 oz and he is 27 inches long. He is so big and he is such a joy! He sleeps through the night now and he is always happy and smiling.

Kennadee is about to start 2nd grade and she told me today how anxious she is! She is worried she won't get "Math"! My little worrier. She also has gotten in her first front tooth! Which if you know know Kennadee that is a big deal. We can't wait for her to get the rest.

So far summer has been fun and hopefully this Heat Wave wont last forever!
